About

This is the official site for the upcoming book, Entanglement: Navigating Complexity in the Age of Artificial Intelligence, to be published by Routledge, Taylor & Francis Group in 2026.

This book presents evidence-based research and practical approaches for using AI to enhance business, human, and planetary outcomes. The research underpinning this work is informed by studies indicating that many organisations encounter difficulties in achieving a positive return on investment from their AI initiatives. This means that business leaders need to be astute in recognising both the complexities and opportunities of using AI to effectively harness its potential. The book examines the interconnected relationship between humans and technology over time, and discusses the need for renewed approaches to AI development and implementation. It suggests that AI differs from traditional technologies and requires adaptive human engagement for socio-technical systems to be successful. Additionally, the book aims to inform readers about both the beneficial and adverse impacts of AI technology on society.

This site provides an outline of each of the eight chapters in Entanglement. It’s designed for business leaders and technology researchers looking for independent research on how to set up their AI strategy with success – without the hype.
